Everyone Loves a Wedding

On Septemeber 1, 2013 I attended the most extravagant wedding I have ever seen. It was absolutly Spectacular. We gathered together to celebrate that marraige of Rachel Mcnabb and Jim Darter. The wedding was extremly well planned, the ceremony was conducted in the Garden, there was a coctail hour in the beaitfully decorated lobby, and the repection was in the main hall of the Schermerhorn in Nasheville, Tennessee. Here are some pictures of our wonderful evening

Face Lotion, Face Lotion, Which One to Choose?

Choosing a face lotion has always been a difficult process for me, they either make my face feel greasey or leave my face dryer than it started. So, I decided to test out 3 different kinds of Clinique Face lotions to see which one was most effective

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion:
Coming in as the cheapest of the three lotions, it is pretty obvious when using this product that you did not pay as much for it. It seems effective at first and yet 10 minutes after application I felt like I needed to apply more. So if your skin is not very dry to begin with and you only need a little bit of moisturizing, then this would be adequate for you. But if just didn't cut it for me.

Moisture Surge:
At around double the price, the Moisture surge is exceedingly more effective, I only have to apply once and I feel moisturized all day. Depending on your budget this product may seem too expensive at first, but something you need to consider is that it is a 1.7 oz container and a little goes a long way. You only need to use a very small amount during each application, so it will definitely last a ver long time.

Moisture Surge Intense:
At the same price as the regular Moisture Surge, This lotion is definitely only for people with very dry skin. The only difference between this lotion and the previous one is that the regular moisture surge has no added oils and the intense does. Because of this, it left my face feeling greasy and it was very unpleasing. However, if you have extremely dry skin, this product will probably work very effectively for you

After a lot of consideration and trying the multiple times, my favorite is with out a doubt the Moisture Surge.

Fall Break

Gulf Shores, Alabama is possibly my favorite beach. I got to spend a few days last month basking in the sun and reading Stephen King. It was a majestic break from school. Here are a few pictures from our trip :)

The Dark Tower, Stephen King made me cry at the beach.

Matthew 6:25-34

So I was reading my daily devotional and it was discussing Worry. This is a big subject for me and I found comfort in this passage so I wanted to post it.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more that food, and the body more that Clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap of store away in barns and yet your Heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can ant one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all him splendor was dressed like on of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you--- you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'what shall we eat?' or ' What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly father knows that you need them. But seek ye first his Kingdom and his Righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day had enough trouble of its own."

This is one of the most uplifting passages for me because it reminds me that God is in control and if i hold on to him , he will take care of me and give me what I need.
